Registration Guidelines

  1. Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate medical degree (post-secondary) or graduate medical degree (post-baccalaureate) program in Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or an equivalent medical degree during the application and competition. Note: We suggest that each team include members from both preclinical (pre-clerkship) and clinical (clerkship) levels.
  2. Each university/college can send up to 3 teams. Each team is required to have 3 medical students and a different advisor for each team. Advisors may choose whether or not to attend the competition in Chiang Mai University.
  3. The CMU-IMC 2023 competition will accept a maximum of 50 teams.
  4. Participants who previously attended the Chiang Mai University International Medical Challenge (CMU-IMC) are eligible to apply/register the CMU-IMC 2023 as well.

There are two registration periods, Early Bird Registration and Regular Registration.

  1. Early Bird Registration Period (850.00 USD / 29,240.00 THB) : June 1, 2023 00.00 (GMT+7) - June 30, 2023 23:59 (GMT+7)
    * Period of payment for Early Bird Registration starts from July 8, 2023 00.00 (GMT+7) - July 14, 2023 23:59 (GMT+7)

  2. Regular Registration Period (950 USD / 32,680.00 THB) : July 16, 2023 00:00 (GMT+7) - August 31, 2023 23:59 (GMT+7)
    * Period of payment for Regular Registration starts from September 8, 2023 00:00 (GMT+7) - September 14, 2023 23:59 (GMT+7)
* This price is the total amount of 4 people, including advisor.
* Additional charges may vary according to the policies of different financial institutions. CMU-IMC is not responsible for any charges associated with transaction fees.
* If the committees do not receive the full amount of an applicant's fee as stated, the applicant must be responsible for the difference.

The application fee includes accommodation, food, souvenirs, Chiang Mai tour, workshops and special activities (For competitors and advisor)

There is no refund for any renouncement.
